Khosi dolls is a 100% female owned South African company that manufactures handmade Keepsake dolls of colour (black dolls, african dolls). Our aim is to produce beautiful dolls that promote inclusivity and further present African children of colour as beautiful and encourage feeling seen and being valued.
The dolls are made out of different textiles as well as dressed in Isishweshwe and Ankara fabric. Our dolls are beautifully crafted and can be used as room decor or as a gift for doll collectors or children. All dolls are 41cm in height and have bendable limbs, meaning they can be made to sit in different ways, ie :cross legs etc.All our dolls are handmade and have unique characteristics and slight variations.
We have both the female/little girl doll who is known as Khosi (short for Makhosazana) and the male/little boy doll known as Themba. Khosi & Themba have a younger sibling called the Buhle doll, who is also a part of the range. The doll range encapsulates the adventures of Khosi & Themba. We further offer soft toys/animals which are part of the Khosi and Temba story ie: farm animals, the big 5 that are trimmed and dressed in Isishweshwe and Ankara fabric.
